Do you love the work Keppel Coast Arts does in your community?

Do you want to see that work continue?

If so, we need your help.

At the end of this year, several long-serving KCA members will retire from the
Management Committee due to geographical relocation and other personal reasons.
We are therefore urgently seeking nominations for the
2027 Management Committee.

Without people willing to be part of the Management Committee, KCA will not be
able to continue to operate. We think that would be an enormous shame – not only
because it would bring an end to more than 25 years of support for local arts and
culture, but because there has never been a better time to be part of KCA.

In 2026, KCA secured organisational funding for the first time through Arts
Queensland’s Regional Community Arts Program. This has enabled us to engage
paid administrative and bookkeeping support, significantly reducing the workload
carried by committee volunteers. This support will continue throughout 2027,
allowing the incoming committee to focus its energies on the leadership and future
direction of a growing community arts organisation.

You don’t need to be an artist. You might be an arts lover, a regular audience
member, a supporter of community life, or simply someone who believes a thriving
local arts and cultural sector matters. If you have skills, ideas and some time to
contribute, we want to hear from you.

Nominations open 15 October, ahead of our AGM on 15 November.
