CLAY ANIMAL FACES or MID CENTURY HAND DISH with Jodie Bryce Dream up and create something entirely new. The process of working with this natural material to create a unique clay project supports personalised learning, sensory development, fine motor skills, expression, self esteem, problem solving skills, discipline and pride in a child. Clay stimulates curiosity and ultimately leads them to craft unique three- dimensional art. Your child will be able to use an under glaze to paint their pottery on the day. WEDNESDAY 27 SEPTEMBER 20231 pm - 4 pm for 10-15 year olds
COIL FORMED POTTERY BOWL with Jodie Bryce Coil is the name given to long sausage/worm shapes made from rolled out clay. The coils can be modelled into lots of different shapes. Experiment with spiral discs, zig zag forms, waves lengths all of which can vary in size. Coils can be arranged to create a repetitive pattern or abstract design. Inspire your creative thinking. Clay can be painted with underglazes on the day. Pieces will be clear fired and returned to the gallery for your pick up. |
