how to hire the workshop space

Fig Tree Galleries is located under two magnificent fig trees at 31-35 Normanby Street Yeppoon. Keppel Coast Arts Council has been licensed by Livingstone Shire Council to manage the Gallery and the Workshop space and manage all bookings. 
Complete the Booking Enquiry Form and we will be in touch with you to confirm availability for the dates you have requested.

Workshop Specifications

Suitable for workshops of up to 15 people.

Available equipment & facilities

- Cleaning equipment & bins
- Eight (8) trestle tables, twelve (12) metal chairs, twelve (12) folding chairs, four (4) metal stools
- sink (for art material use)
-electronic white board
- Safety ladders- small, large & step
-hand trolley
- ceiling fans & airconditioning
-poer outlets
-data point
male , female & unisex accessible toilets
​-kitchenette- fridge, microwave, cups, glasses, crockery, cutlery.

workplace health & safety

-Exhibitors, workshop facilitators, workshop participants,to wear appropriate clothing to work in and provide all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
-follow gallery staff instructions regarding WH&S and undertake work safety as per instructions.
Emergency exits and firefighting equipment must be kept clear at all times.
​- use of equipment such as ladders is at own risk.

Things to think about

-iaise with Keppel Coast Arts and supply promotional information, including appropriate logos and branding
​-if you will be serving alcohol please ensure you obtain the necessary licences and apply at least 4 weeks in advance
-Evacuation information will be displayed on wall int eh workshop area, please ensure that all participants are fully inducted prior to the beginning of your event
