2019 CQUniversity Village Festival

In the most significant development of The CQUniversity Village Festival since 2013, Yeppoon’s annual music, arts and culture celebration will now run over two weekends, from 2 August to 11 August 2019.
Announcing the Festival’s 2019 dates, CQUniversity Vice-Chancellor Professor Nick Klomp and Chair of the Festival Board Phil Henry said that extending the Festival was a natural next step in the growth of the event since its inception in 2003 at Farnborough School.
Professor Klomp added that, as naming rights sponsor until 2021, CQUniversity was excited to have the opportunity to contribute ideas and resources to build the Festival, while providing more avenues for students, staff and graduates to become involved.
“CQUniversity is determined to ensure the Village Festival continues as a beacon on Queensland’s events calendar, promoting the best of music, arts and culture,” Professor Klomp says.“Yeppoon is such an iconic location that it deserves to be in the spotlight with such an iconic festival," he said.
