MONSOON |
|
Synopsis: MONSOON is the story of a boy and a girl – twins – two forces that must, by all means, be kept apart – set against an epic, intergenerational story of two real people – a father and a daughter.
The play’s story is told at the intersection between the mythical, dreamlike world of the twins and the real life of this father and daughter. How do we explain the interconnections between us, the chain reactions that make our lives possible in a community? How do very small actions happening now create incredible reactions across generations? MONSOON asks the question of what Marcia will mean to the people of the Keppel Coast in decades or generations to come. Will it be a small blip? Will it be a warning… or a blessing perhaps? |
