CAPS Filmmaker Workshop ​(YEPPOON)

Keppel Coast Arts& Capricorn Film Festival present CAPS Filmmaker Workshop Yeppoon, Queensland.

  Do you have an interest in movies?
  Ever wanted to learn how to write a short story for screen? Or how to be a director, camera operator or sound recordist?
  Meet like minded people and learn tips make a successful short film for #capfilmfest2018 !!!
  This short introduction workshop is this and so much more as you learn entry level skills into the film making process, from idea inception through to distribution.
  Learn from the Capricorn Film Festival mentors and international filmmakers, Luke Graham and Peter Szilveszter.

Participants require no previous experience prior to the course, just an enthusiasm for cinema and film making. We encourage any students that were unable to take part in the workshop offered via their school to attend. 
Age restriction is 11 up.

Keppel Coast Arts is giving away five workshop tickets (valued at $165) to the Yeppoon based CAPS Filmmaker Workshop on the 11th and 12th August.
To enter, submit a paragraph stating your background, photography and/or film experience and why you would like to attend the workshop. Email your response to Keppel Coast Arts. 

Applicants should note it isn't necessary to have a background in film or previous experience ... most important criteria is WHY you would like to attend and how you would benefit? 
Submissions for the give away tickets close on 29 July. Successful applicants will be notified on Friday 06 August 2018.

Luke Graham Biography

Luke Graham is an international award winning Australian film Producer and founder of Capricorn Film Festival. He specializes as a Creative Producer and frequently works in the story and editorial department of his projects.

Peter Szilveszter Biography

Peter a cinematographer and colourist, owns Living Lens a video production house based in Yeppoon. His first feature The Legend of Ben Hall distributed in 2016 gained rave reviews.
